Country Jam 2021 JUNE 24 – 26 GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
Experiencing the Country Jam Festival
Every summer in mid-June, the Country Jam Ranch transforms into the venue of the largest country music festival in Western Colorado, aptly named – Country Jam! Over the course of 4 days, fans from far and wide who have made the trip to have a blast at the festival are treated to a spectacle headlined by some of the brightest country music stars.
Ever since Country Jam first started in 1992, its popularity has grown year upon year. If you’re a fan of country music – it is a festival that you won’t want to miss. The atmosphere is always vibrant and charged, while the crowd are entertained by performances featuring some of the best country artists in the business at the top of their game.
While some may stay in hotels and accommodation at Grand Junction Colorado that is just 20 miles away, others prefer to camp out on the 240 acre ranch itself – which the festival readily provides for!
Camping at the Country Jam
Part of the appeal of camping out at the festival is due to the fact that it is a stone’s throw from the music performances, making it a convenient and easy way for you to attend the full 4 day event and not have to constantly drive back and forth from Grand Junction Colorado.
Generally speaking, the closer the camp is to the music stage, the more it cost, but the sizes of the camp sites tend to be fairly similar. Most sites are able to easily accommodate your car and tent, or RV.
Larger camping sites are also available but they cost a little bit more, and certain zones are even predesignated as ‘Quit Zones’ for those who’d like to call it a night early and not have to worry about having their sleep disturbed by noisy neighbors. The festival doesn’t allow loud partying after 1 am, so noise really shouldn’t be a problem at all anyway.
Up to 8 people can share the same camping spot, all of whom should have a full 4 day pass to the festival. Some basic facilities are provided including drinking water, porta john toilets and hot showers – but not much more than that. For department stores, restaurants and camping supplies you may need to pay a visit to Grand Junction Colorado.
In short, camping out at Country Jam is really part and parcel of the experience and will ensure that you don’t miss a second of the spectacular country music that is being played. Tickets are available through most of the normal concert ticket vendors, and you should book them early if you want to get a good spot.
